T.V. has worked professionally in the arts since 1989 and is one of the founding members of Spraoi. He has served as a member of the Arts Council, the Cultural Relations Committee at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Waterford City Development Board.  He played a lead-role in the development and construction of Spraoi’s Studio complex.  He has advised numerous local authorities and public bodies on arts policy and planning. T.V. is a member of the Festival Committee for the return visit of the Tall Ships Race to Waterford  in 2011.

He holds an MA in Arts and Heritage Management (Hons).

Programme Director: Miriam Dunne

A founder member of Spraoi, and an internationally respected festival programmer. Miriam deals with national and international acts, agencies and an extensive network of overseas festivals. She maintains contacts with festivals throughout Ireland and is currently Chair of A.O.I.F.E. the national representative body for Irish Festivals and Events.  Her programming skills have been used by major events throughout Ireland, including the Dublin Docklands Maritime Festival, The Cork Clipper Race 2010 and St. Patrick’s Festival, Cork.  Miriam is also a member of the Festival Committee for the return visit of the Tall Ships Race to Waterford  in 2011.

Miriam graduated from the Waterford Institute of Technology in Bi-Lingual Business Management and Administration.

Artistic Director: Mike Leahy

Working with Spraoi since its inception in 1993, Mike has worked on all of Spraoi’s major productions, both indoor and outdoor.  This work involves conception, design, construction and staging.  He has also worked extensively throughout Ireland, with touring street theatre pieces.  In addition he also carries out both creative and event management consultations for various commercial companies and associations, past/present clients include Waterford City Council, St. Patrick’s Festival Dublin and Cork 2005 European Capital of Culture.

Financial Controller/Administrator: Niamh Colbert
Finance, Administration.

Niamh has worked with Waterford Spraoi for the past 10 years, initially as an artist but in recent years as an Administrator and Financial Manager.  She has a National Diploma in Fine Art from W.I.T. plus a FETAC qualification in Arts Administration.   In connection with her new role as Finance Manager with Spraoi, created in 2009, Niamh is currently studying for an ACCA C.A.T. qualification and will sit her final exam in June 2010.
