LUXe is an amazing street theatre company based in Donegal. The company creates beautiful visual and performance work that is staged by day and night.

LUXe will perform at Spraoi International Street Arts Festival for the first time this year. Their show at Spraoi will be at night at a city centre location. The event will be created by LUXe, produced by Spraoi and will be in association with a number of other Waterford arts companies.

                          

Incorporating inflatable and mechanical sculpture with elaborate costume design, circus-skills, dance and music, Donegal company LUXe have enchanted audiences both in Ireland and abroad with their unique style of processional and site-specific outdoor spectacle. This will their first appearance at Spraoi.

Featuring hundreds of performers, flamboyant costumes, spectacular floats, incredible puppets, original live music and special effects the Spraoi Parade is one of Ireland’s top outdoor arts spectacles.

Designed and developed uniquely for the festival each year by Spraoi’s pioneering artistic team in Waterford, the parade is unleashed upon the city’s streets in a communal celebration of unrestrained creative expression.

Queen of The Circus

The Latin Lothario, Mario returns to Spraoi with a complex and comic juggling show inspired by the arena-rock anthems of his favourite supergroup Queen.

                          

Having wowed audiences at Spraoi in 2008 with their inventive and fast moving comic strip shows, Bash Street Theatre return to Waterford with the Irish Premiere of their new production “The Strongman”. Incorporating circus skills, live music and silent comedy; this is a new old-fashioned street theatre show for all ages.
