Guinness Rhythm Route

Featuring a diverse sample of music in city centre pubs throughout the Spraoi Festival, the Guinness Rhythm Route is a central element to the Spraoi Festival. It features local, national and international bands, with live music each evening in just about every city centre pub.

For 2010 The Guinness Rhythm Route played host to varying sounds from around the Globe. It has become, over the last 13 years, an integral part of the Spraoi Festival and an eagerly anticipated event in itself.

Highlights included the rootsy bluesy sound of Tupelo, the swing jazz outfit that is Skazz and the high energy gypsy inspired Australian fourpiece The Crooked Fiddle Band from Australia.  There was also the cajun bluegrass sound of the ever popular Two Time Polka, the indescribable Mundo Jazz, and the infectious rhythms of Delorentos who raised the roof at their gig in Geoffs on Saturday evening.
