                            The William Diamond Junior Fife and Drum Corps
Composed of 35 members, this Drum Corps is a non-profit, all volunteer, youth organization dedicated to teaching history, music, and military discipline to young people all the way from Massachusetts, USA. Using traditional fifes and drums, the band play music from 18th Century America, most of which would have originally emanated from Ireland and
the UK.
Barrack Street Band
This band has been making music in Waterford since 1870. In that time, they have contributed richly to the cultural and social life of Waterford and have been an enduring presence in the ever- changing narrative of the city. The band has been involved with Spraoi since
its inception in 1993 and will perform a selection of popular music pieces from their Summer Programme.
The Friendship Band
Formed in the mid 70’s with the aim of bringing together musicians from both sides of the community, this band has subsequently performed all over the world. 30 or more players from various brass bands offer carnival style entertainment.
    The Big Bang
Be prepared for fast and furious percussion, high energy grooves
and smokin’ hot base lines from this creative, local, percussion group. Born out of Waterford Academy of Music and
Arts, since their formation this group has continually astonished with the quality of
their live shows. It’s thunderous pandemonium!
   They ain’t called ‘The Big Bang’ for nothin’!
